Two influential classics of the New Thought movement explore the relationship between thought, belief, and the creative power of the mind.

In The Science of Mind, Ernest Holmes presents the philosophical foundation of Religious Science, teaching that the universe operates through universal spiritual laws that respond to human thought and belief. Holmes argues that by understanding these laws and aligning one's thinking with them, individuals can transform their lives through spiritual awareness, affirmative prayer, and conscious mental discipline.

Joseph Murphy's The Power of Your Subconscious Mind complements these ideas by exploring how beliefs and mental patterns shape everyday experience. Murphy explains that the subconscious mind acts as a creative force within human life, responding to repeated thoughts, emotions, and expectations. By learning to guide these inner patterns, individuals can cultivate greater health, confidence, prosperity, and peace of mind.

Together these two widely read works present a powerful introduction to the principles of New Thought philosophy. Combining spiritual insight with practical guidance, they remain enduring classics for readers interested in the deeper influence of belief, consciousness, and the hidden power of the mind.
