Junius was the pseudonym of an anonymous writer who penned a series of letters to the public in the late eighteenth century. The letters, which were highly critical of the government and its policies, captivated the public imagination and sparked a fierce controversy. In this volume, the letters are collected in their entirety, along with other writings by the same author, including his correspondence with Mr. Wilkes and his private letters to Mr. H.S. Woodfall. The volume is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of political satire and free speech.
