Der idyo presents Fyodor Dostoevsky's classic novel, "The Idiot," in a Yiddish translation. This enduring story explores themes of innocence, morality, and the clash between the ideal and the real within 19th-century Russian society. Prince Myshkin, the 'idiot' of the title, embodies a Christ-like figure whose naiveté and honesty expose the corruption and moral bankruptcy of the world around him.

This Yiddish edition offers a unique opportunity to experience Dostoevsky's profound insights and psychological depth through the lens of Yiddish language and culture, making it a valuable addition to both literary and Judaic studies.
