Lugbara is one of the languages of north-western Uganda and eastern Congo. Most of the values of the Lugbara people are reflected in the language. This concise and portable dictionary is aimed at those interested in a deeper understanding of Lugbara, and for visitors and tourists. The dictionary is preceded by an explanation of the basic grammar including the alphabet; personal pronouns and the verb 'to be'; personal pronouns andthe verb to have; parts of speech; and conjugation of verbs.
