2020 sees the sixth year of the Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capital Excellence Awards. This year we received 10 case histories for our consideration. After an initial evaluation of the abstracts and full review of those case histories which made it to the second round, we are pleased to present the four finalists in this anthology.

Each of these case histories demonstrate innovative and creative examples of knowledge management or intellectual capital implementation, covering a range of applications including AI and social good; Strategic responses to disruptions; Development of learning organisations and how IC can affect strategy implementation in a school setting. The case histories this year illustrate a diverse group of ideas from Russia, Macedonia and the USA.

The overall winner of the 2020 Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capital Awards will be announced at the end of the 21st European Conference on Knowledge Management, which is held this year as a virtual event, supported by Coventry University in the UK on 2-4 December 2020.
