Hush died. Well...sort of. Stuck in Limbo, in a figurative and Literal sense, Hush is now the unintentional centerpiece of major conflict. Yes, his death may have inadvertently caused a chain reaction to swarm earth with clones of himself from various timelines, the "Olivers", but there were bigger concerns at hand.

...Like why his mom, Olive, was also in Limbo.

Taba was cornered. With rumors of a third group threatening both Malapace and the Family, enemies have set aside differences to form a temporary truce. Serving as a mediator between the two factions, he needs to carefully walk the tightrope between Malapace and the Family to ensure a tense truce doesn't explode into preemptive war.

Also...Queenie. He shouldn't have snapped. Taba was an idiot. Damn it.

Queenie would apologize to Taba the next time they met. However, that was for later: the Family had more urgent issues. A new group of enemies had been caught sneaking around their Family's caves as though they were searching for something. As per Father's account...the enemy, or rather...enemies, had the ability to rob a person of their senses.
