Hymnau a Salmau is a collection of hymns and psalms in Welsh, primarily featuring the work of William Williams. The psalms are attributed to E. Prys. This collection was compiled at the request and for the use of the Calvinistic Methodists in Liverpool by R. and J. Williams. This volume preserves the rich tradition of Welsh hymnody and offers insight into the religious practices of Welsh Calvinistic Methodists in the 19th century. The enduring legacy of William Williams' hymns makes this collection a valuable resource for those interested in Welsh language, religious music, and the history of Methodism.
