Some graves are never meant to be opened.

When Dinah Pilcher-journalist, occult investigator, and Gideon Thorn's former companion-vanishes while chasing a story in the swamps of Arkansas, Thorn sets out to find her. Her last known pursuit? A rash of grave robberies tied to whispered legends of dark rites and unnatural resurrection.

What he uncovers is far worse.

In a forgotten corner of the South, Thorn crosses paths with a brutal outlaw clan and a shadowy cult said to command the dead. Their ancient rituals promise vengeance and power-at the cost of defying the natural order itself. With every step deeper into the backwoods, Thorn draws closer to the truth... and to a horror that refuses to stay buried.

To save Dinah-or avenge her-he must face the boundary between life and death, and the monstrous ambitions of those who would cross it.

Empty Graves is a macabre fusion of gothic terror, Southern folklore, and frontier grit-where the dead don't rest, and the living pay the price.
