Who is Magali?

Good question.

Magali is an ordinary French marmot.

At least, she was.

Then she met a hare, two foxes, and a group of mountain animals with a talent for turning simple ideas into complete chaos.

This bilingual adventure tells a complete story in English and French, presented on facing pages.

It's for young readers, bilingual families, teachers, and language learners.

This time, Magali discovers that balancing sports and friendships may be harder than she expected.

Magali was supposed to be learning wakeboarding.

Instead, she accidentally becomes the star player of a volleyball team.

Now she has a problem.

Her best friend Mishka wants her to help him find a way to get wakeboards.

Her new volleyball teammates want her to train for an important competition.

As Magali tries to keep up with two sports, two groups of friends, and one busy social life, she finds herself caught up in another chaotic adventure involving:

• bodybuilder owls pulling wakeboards across a mountain lake,
• a frog demanding 200 dragonflies for a single board,
• new neighbours who turn her life upside down,
• and a volleyball team convinced that "Kangaroo-Marmot" is exactly what they've been missing.

The only problem?

Magali doesn't want to give up either adventure.

But sooner or later, she may have to!
