Who is Magali?

Good question.

Magali is an ordinary French marmot.

At least, she was.

Then she met a hare, two foxes, and a group of mountain animals with a talent for turning simple ideas into complete chaos.

This bilingual adventure tells a complete story in English and French, presented on facing pages.

It's for young readers, bilingual families, teachers, and language learners.

This time, an exciting trip across the border leads Magali to her biggest challenge yet: rock climbing.

Magali has never travelled beyond her home in the French Alps.

Then one night, her friends give her shocking news: they're going to venture across the border into Italy to compete in a rock-climbing competition!

There's just one small problem.

None of them know how to rock climb.

Not the foxes.

Not the rabbit.

Not the hare.

Not even Puppy Bébé.

No problem because according to Bruno The Italian Stag: 'It's Italy. There are no rules. You get up the rock any way you can.'

Perfect.

Now Magali and The Dudes must come up with a completely ridiculous plan to scale a giant cliff, survive the competition, and somehow beat the other teams.

So, what is their plan? They choose Magali to scale the wall and win the competition for the team. But, why her? She's the fattest one out of them!
