Who is Magali?

Yes! Good question.

Magali is an ordinary French marmot. But her mountain mates? The Dudes? They're fun, competitive, and they drag her into all sorts of sporty adventures...

Magali was supposed to stay out of trouble.

Instead, she and her mountain friends discover a brand-new sport rushing through the French Alps: river rafting.

Now the Dudes are determined to become champion rafters - despite the small problem that none of them have ever rafted before.

Or swum.

As the animals sneak out at night to practise on the freezing mountain river, Magali finds herself swept into another chaotic adventure involving:

• midnight training sessions,
• dangerous rapids,
• a Saint Bernard puppy with terrible brakes,
• and a very arrogant wild boar who thinks he's already the champion.

The biggest problem?

The river has a mind of its own.
